How my area of work got related to Reflective Practice

I am one of those people who are lazy to write anything. I try to take a picture or sketch my ideas if something is important to remember later. Like 'Lion with a Wing' which is shown below.

One day in the introduction class with Harkins, Michael. I was showing my portfolio to him at that time he asked me about this sketch. He wanted to know more about what came into my mind while I was drawing this, at that moment I could not answer because I was too nervous, or I was afraid of sharing my feelings. I am an introverted person I cannot share my feelings or opinions easily with anyone. But today I would like to say a bit about this tattoo I got on my right leg.

The lion is the symbol of the Leo horoscope, and the wing I related as the sign of air is Libra's element. Anyway, Leo is my mother and Libra is me.

My mother was a brave lady, hardworking, and also used to save me from all barriers, with the wings I wanted to delay the time of her death, so wanted to fly her away from that crucial moment. This is a short story I shared but apart from this, I wanted to tell you I sketch my feelings.

And about photography, it reminds me as I scroll through my galleries all the time. I think this is also known as Reflective Practice.

Reflective Practice

Reflective practice is the ability to reflect on one's actions so as to engage in a process of continuous learning. - Donald Schon

Reflective Practice: Thinking About the Way You Do Things

I think the process of keeping records as a photograph is helpful. Through this process, I can reflect on the past and find solutions to my problems and analyze my recent experience. This reflective strategy bought me a new life and creativity into practice.
